The subassembly of wellhead that supports the casing string when it is run into the wellbore. The casing hanger provides a means of ensuring that the string is correctly located and generally incorporates a sealing device or system to isolate the casing annulus from upper wellhead components.
Attached to the topmost joint of Casing, the casing hanger incorporates features to suspend the casing string and provide hydraulic isolation once engaged in the casing bowl.

A wellbore tubular used to produce reservoir fluids. Production tubing is assembled with other completion components to make up the production string. The production tubing selected for any completion should be compatible with the wellbore geometry, reservoir production characteristics and the reservoir fluids.
The process of forcing a cement slurry through holes or splits in the casing or liner. Once the slurry encounters a permeable formation, the cement solids are filtered out of the slurry as the liquid phase is forced into the formation matrix in the form of cement filtrate. A properly designed squeeze-cement operation will fill the relevant holes and voids with cement filter cake that will cure to form an impenetrable barrier
a drilling system where a motor is attached to the top of the drill string in the rig derrick to impart a rotary action directly, rather than use a Kelly and rotary table.
